Welcome to the web site of CHF. The Forum is a resource for people who are both historians and Christians.  If you are a lecturer, school teacher, student, or just interested in history, we hope you will find something of interest on these pages. We hope that you might even want to join the forum.

As you will see, there is room for more content on the site. We hope to add more as time goes on, and we hope that CHF members will help provide it.
We are pleased to have  an interview with David Bebbington. You can access this from the Other resources page.We also have a blog, you can find this via the Links page. Please visit and read!

Our next conference will be at St Deiniol’s Library, Hawarden, on Monday 26 March 2012.  The topic is ‘From 1662 to 2012: 350 Years of Nonconformist History’. Cost: £15 per head.  For full details of papers and how to book, see our ‘Future Events’ page.

On 12 November 2011, a conference took place on the theme: Beyond 2011: How the Bible Shaped British Culture’, at St Peter’s, Vere St. Four interesting papers were given on different aspects of the topic, and the day finished with a round table discussion.

The next bulletin will contain papers from the Oxford day conference in  February 2011: ‘The Dark Side of Christian History’. To receive a copy, make sure you join CHF!
